Dallas Cowboys To Unearth Jon Kitna’s Fossilized Remains From A Montana Desert And Sign Him To Team

With the season ending injury to Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys have decided to unearth Jon Kitna’s fossilized remains from a Montana desert and sign him to their roster. “Obviously we need a guy with experience,” owner Jerry Jones told the media outside the dig site, “so if we can get Kitna out from beneath the layers of sandstone, limestone and hardened volcanic ash, it will be a huge boost to our team.” The Cowboys also hired numerous paleontologists to their coaching staff so that Kitna’s assimilation into the team’s offensive system can be as easy and welcoming as possible. The rest of the team was excited for the eventual discovery and arrival of Kitna’s remains but wondered who would replace Romo’s ability to throw a crucial interception in the fourth quarter.
