In last night’s Finals game, Ray Allen, the player with the most 3 point shots in the history of the game, sank a three point shot with 5.2 seconds left to tie the game. A proud Ray Allen told reporters that it was the “best three point shot with 5.2 seconds left against the Spurs in Game 6 of the Finals I’ve ever made.” “I’ve made plenty of three point shots with 5.2 seconds left against the Spurs in Game 6 of the Finals, but this one is truly special. I feel blessed tonight and just want to thank my teammates for giving me the opportunity to make a play.” One of those teammates, Mario Chalmers, was in awe of the veteran Allen, stating, “It seems like it’s second nature for him to make three point shots with 5.2 seconds left against the Spurs in Game 6 of the Finals, but this proved that it isn’t as easy as he makes it look and it was just a great moment for sports.” This was an eventful game, as LeBron James also stated that it was the best game he’s personally ever played where he has his headband knocked off while driving to the rim in the 4th quarter.
